Red Wings Add La Cara

The Richardson Pioneer Weyburn Red Wings have made a trade with the Olds Grizzlys of the AJHL to acquire 2003 born forward Rocco La Cara in exchange for a PDF. 

La Cara split last season between the Richmond Sockeyes of the PJHL (formerly PIJHL) and the Merritt Centennials of the BCHL. In 16 games in the BCHL, he managed to put up 3G-1A-4P.

Meanwhile in his time in the PJHL, La Cara scored 29G-14A-42P in 30 games played during the regular season, and he added another 1G-2A-3P in 5 playoff games.

He’s also already played 3 games this season with the Grizzlys, and in that time he’s earned a single assist.

The addition of La Cara brings the Red Wings up to the seven 20-year-old players on the roster, one under the league limit.
