4 Way Trade Brings in Meiklejohn

As part of a four way deal, the Richardson Pioneer Weyburn Red Wings have acquired 18-year-old forward Cade Meiklejohn from the Fort McMurray Oil Barons of the AJHL.

Last year as a 17-year-old, Meiklejohn played 23 games in the AJHL and put up 6G-3A-9P in that time. You can find more about Meiklejohn’s stats here.

The full trade web saw the Red Wings send the SJHL rights to Tate Schofer to the Yorkton Terriers in exchange for Ashton Funk.

Meanwhile, the Fort McMurray Oil Barons would send Cade Meiklejohn and a PDF to the Calgary Canucks in exchange for Rylan Ringor.

Finally, the trade would end when Calgary sent Meiklejohn to Weyburn in exchange for Ashton Funk.
