The Weyburn Red Wings are proud to announce the signing of 99 FW Calder Newson.
Calder played last season with the Valley West Hawks of the BC Major Midget AAA League. Newson put up 7 goals and 16 assists along with 67 pims last season.
The 6′ 197 lb Newson can play all of the forward positions, as well as defence. Calder’s two-way play and versatility should bring a lot of value to the line up.
The Wings open up training camp on Saturday September 2nd. Come check out the making of this years team!
