We have three categories for nomination in the Hall of Fame.

Player: Individuals or teams who have made significant contributions to the Red Wings through their play on ice. Exemplified the traditions, values and goals of the team and organization with confidence and represented the Red Wings with distinction. Their high level of performance and exceptional achievement has contributed to the club and sport while continuously conducting themselves through sportsmanship and character.
Builder: Individuals or groups who have made significant contributions to the Red Wings through their work as coaches, managers, trainers or administrators. Their long term commitment to the club has had a notable and positive impact on the development and reputation of the Weyburn Red Wings, through leadership, character, dedication and vision their passion to go above and beyond has raised the team to new heights on and off the ice.
Community: Individuals or groups who have made significant contributions to the Red Wings at the grassroots level through their long-standing involvement with the Red Wings, selfless service to the Weyburn Red Wings and the community. Their ongoing participation has a positive impact on the club and community, inspiring involvement at all level
What kind of information are we looking to include on a nomination form?
A brief biographical sketch, materials supporting their nomination, a picture to be used on the website and plaque as well as any sports related photos.
The bio-sketch should include detailed information about the nominees achievements with and outside of the Red Wings club, this can be in point form. You can also include letters of support from former coaches, teammates or volunteer co-workers, etc.
Materials supporting nomination can be anything from newspaper clippings, hockeydb link, press releases. Anything that is factual and accurate rather than based on personal memories.
We will keep all nominations on file but cannot guarantee when or if your nominee will be inducted.
