Former Weyburn Red Wing goaltender Nick Malvin is in his Junior Season with Concordia University in Wisconsin. Nick has posted a 2.51 GAA and .917 Save Percentage in 23 games. 

Defenseman Mason Anderson is in his second season at University of Alaska Anchorage where he has posted 2 goals and 3 assists in 19 appearances. Mason played 64 USHL games between his two seasons with the Red Wings. 

Rylan Parenteau is currently in his first season with the UNB Varsity Reds. Rylan has a sparkling 2.00 GAA through 9 starts and 9 wins. After posting a 2.72 GAA and .926 Save Percentage as a 17 year old in Weyburn, Parenteau went on to play 3 full seasons in the WHL with the Prince Albert Raiders and the Tri-City Americans.

Goaltender Jack Burgart is in his second season at Bemidji State University this year. Jack has had one start this season for the Beavers, a loss against the Princeton Tigers at the Historic Hobey Baker Memorial Rink. Jack attended Development Camp with the Chicago Blackhawks after he finished his 20 year old season with our Red Wings. 

Jacob Jeske is in his sophomore season at Northland College in Ashland Wisconsin. Jake has 3 goals and 6 assists for the Lumberjacks this season. Jake played 3 seasons in Weyburn between 2013 and 2016. 

Former WRW Centerman Drake Glover has been held pointless in 7 games during his freshman season at the University of Alaska-Anchorage this season. 

Former WRW Sniper Carson Rose has 5 goals and 4 assists in 20 games played as a freshman at the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth Minnesota this season. Rose had 24 goals and 46 points last season with the Red Wings. 

Weyburn native and Wings' alumni Carter Struthers is in his Senior Season with the Bemidji State Beavers. Carter has 1 goal and 2 assists so far this season. The 6'5" defender played 79 regular season games, posting 11 goals and 36 assists, with his hometown Red Wings before moving on to NCAA Div I. 

Former WRW Brendan McKay has played 24 games as a sophomore with the Lake Superior State Lakers this season. McKay had 15 goals and 23 assists during his final season with the Red Wings.

WRW Alumni Ian Parker is currently tied for the team scoring lead on the University of Windsor Lancers. Ian is in his first season with the Lancers. Parker has 9 goals and 10 assists in 28 games played this season. Ian Parker is 6th all time in WRW games played with 171.
