Player Committment – Sven Schefer commits to the Wings

The Weyburn Red Wings are proud to announce the commitment of 2000 Forward Sven Schefer from Winkler, MB.

Schefer spent the past two seasons with the Pembina Valley Hawks of the Manitoba Midget AAA Hockey League. Last season Sven produced 20 goals and 33 assists for 53 points and 68 pims in 48 games. Schefer finished second in team scoring.

The 6’ 165 lb winger has a good frame, powerful stride and the skill to produce offense. Sven has played 96 regular season AAA games the past few seasons.
