The Weyburn Red Wings have acquired 98 D Tristan Petrie from the Nipawin Hawks. Welcome to Weyburn Tristan!
Petrie is a Lloydminster product, who played Jr B as a 16 year old with the Lloydminster Bandits putting up 5 goals, 9 assists and 77 pims. He then played Midget AAA with Lloydminster Bobcats where he produced 2 goals, 4 assists and 36 pims. Last Season Tristan played 34 games in the AJHL with the Lloydminster Bobcats, before being traded to Nipawin prior to the start of this season. The 6’2 195 lb defender will bring size, a solid defensive game, and a veteran presence to the Red Wings blue line.
